| Owners Don and Linda Weatherford were raised in the Paducah area. After a pursuing a lengthy military career, Don enjoyed over 15 years as a commercial pilot before retiring a second time. Linda is a former business owner and divides her time among homemaking, quilting, and genealogy. The couple has lived in fifteen states during their 42-year marriage and hence decided to locate to a quiet, less crowded area. A small wooded horse farm in western Kentucky has proved to be just the place. There is a detached garage with a small apartment above which Don and Linda have decided to use to extend their hospitality to individuals and groups who would seek a quiet, yet accessible environment to pursue hobbies, conduct informal work sessions, or just plain relax. Don enjoys working around the place and Linda is enjoying the hobbies of quilting and genealogy. Linda has been quilting for the past 15 years and doing genealogy for the past 25 years. Occasional travel still appeals, but right now there is no place like home. They invite you to visit and enjoy the quiet rural atmosphere. Relax on the porch, count the trees, enjoy the wildlife, or just watch the grass grow! |
